Poor cooling can also result from dust build up on the condenser coils. To clean the condenser coils, disconnect the refrigerator. Use a condenser brush to remove any dust, lint, pet dander etc.

To check if your refrigerator door gaskets are tight enough slip a piece of paper in between the door and the refrigerator, and close the door shut. Try to slip the paper out.
